International Women’s Day – really can be considered as one of the most beautiful spring holidays. March 8 means the arrival of spring, women’s beauty and tenderness. Love is in the air, and there is a smile on women’s and girls’ faces and they are shining with happiness.

Traditionally male half of ARBZ LLP pleases women with an event organized specifically on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The men of the Company organized an eventful concert program, with songs, jokes and a warm congratulatory speech from the Company Manager. At the end of program men pleasantly surprised the beautiful half of the Company with gifts, surprises and flowers.

On March 02-03, 2020 ARBZ took part in the Trade and Economic Mission in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus, organized by Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan as part of government program execution on Export Promotion Organization.

During the Trade and Economic Mission, a ceremony of signing bilateral Contracts and agreements was held, in the terms of which a memorandum of cooperation was signed. This ceremony was one of central events of the ceremony and was covered in the media of both Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Due to planned speaking it was possible to conduct an effective presentation of ARBZ LLP Company directly in front of target audience, in the official part of Trade and Economic Mission.

In the final part of the event, direct business meetings and negotiations were held between representatives of the Belarusian and Kazakh business. In the course of meetings in B2B format, negotiations were held with the representatives of various business fields on supply of ARBZ LLP products and presentation work was carried out.

The II Forum of Interregional Cooperation was held in Urgench, Republic of Uzbekistan during the period from February 25 to 26, 2020 between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of Prime Ministers of two countries. Within the framework of this forum, a single national stand of the Republic of Kazakhstan was installed where competitive Kazakhstani manufacturers, including ARBZ LLP, presented their products to visitors of exhibition. It should be noted that the best export-oriented enterprises from all regions of our country were selected for this event.

Within the framework of the Forum meeting, the speeches of khokim of the Khorezm, the Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other speeches of high-ranking officials of two states were heard who expressed a desire to create favorable conditions for increasing mutual trade of high demand goods between business circles of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan region.

Later, an exhibition of products from leading enterprises of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan was opened, and a business meeting in B2B format was held with the participation of business circles of two countries. The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.

Мore than 70 entrepreneurs from 12 regions of Kazakhstan took part in the event. At the same time, from the Uzbek side, more than 150 entrepreneurs participated in this event.

The Republic of Kazakhstan celebrates the 28th anniversary of Independence Day on December 16, 2019. In honor of this holiday, Aktobe Rail and Section Works LLP organized the ceremonial event for the employees of the enterprise. The event was opened by folk dances and songs performed by plant employees.

The results of the year were summed up at the event, and all plant employees were congratulated, among which the best were awarded with diplomas. Congratulatory certificates were awarded to students undergoing internships as part of charity project of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC.

This year, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan awarded the badge “ENBEK DANKY” III degree to Deputy Director for general issues Ibragimov Marat Yadykarovich.

Traditionally, the trade union committee of ARBZ LLP holds sports and athletic contest among the plant’s employees dedicated to Independence Day in the following sports: football, volleyball, table tennis, swimming and chess. The winners of the sports and athletic contest were noted and awarded during the event.

On the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the annual awarding of the winners of Paryz business social responsibility contest was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. 446 applications were submitted for participation in the competition this year, where: 141 enterprises – large-sized entities, 305 enterprises – small and medium-sized business entities. According to the results of the contest, the republican commission determined 25 winners.

This contest has been held annually since 2008, the organizer is the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan and includes 4 nominations: “The best socially responsible enterprise”, “The best enterprise in the field of occupational safety and health”, “The best collective employment agreement” and “For the contribution to the environment.”

It should be that Aktobe Rail and Section Works LLP traditionally takes part in this event and this year it was awarded the Paryz-2019 statuette in the nomination “The Best Socially Responsible Enterprise”, becoming a laureate among large business entity.

The 25th International Industrial Exhibition Metal-Expo’2019 was held in Moscow from 12 till 15 of November.

About 600 companies from 34 countries of the world took part in the anniversary exhibition, their combined capacities make up more than 300 million tons of ferrous and non-ferrous metals – this is the 6th part of the world metallurgical production.

Metal-Expo exhibition is recognized international platform, where more than 40 seminars are held, round tables and meetings where serious issues of technology development are raised, demonstration of the most modern equipment, and development prospects of metallurgical industry as a whole are discussed.

Participants of exhibition are leaders and specialists of domestic and foreign production interested in supply of high-quality metal products, technologies, innovative solutions for construction industry, mechanic engineering, fuel and energy complex, metal trading and transport and logistics companies.

Aktobe Rail and Section Works LLP traditionally takes part in Metal-Expo exhibition, it became the 6^th this year. ARBZ LLP regularly prepares and implements a program for this event.

A large number of meetings and negotiations were held. During the discussions, existing relationships were strengthened, as well as new business contacts were established that could strengthen the prospects for further cooperation, allowing to expand sales market and reach a new export level. The products of ARBZ LLP was met with great interest from participants of this event.

As of today, the Rail Commission is a significant and recognized event in the metallurgical industry, as the lion’s share of freight traffic is carried out by rail.

In 2019, the 135th anniversary Rail Commission was held in the city of Novokuznetsk.

First of all, the Rail Commission is a platform for discussion of advanced technologies, introduсtion of new products and results oriented correction works, and for large metallurgical companies it is an opportunity to discuss production and quality of products with their consumers, and “compare notes” directly with them.

For three days, scientists and metallurgists from the CIS countries share experience in advanced technologies in the field of production and operation of rail products. The following issues have been raised within the framework of the rail commission: production technology, production and operation, durability and reliability of railway rails, mass production of various manufacturers, as well as the results of research works, made it possible to quickly outline measures to solve emerging problems in the production and operation of rail products.

General questions are raised and specific decisions and recommendations are made at each meeting of the Rail Commission, the implementation of which is carefully monitored.

Based on work of the Rail Commission, it was possible to choose correctly the main directions for improving the quality of rails. In recent years, a transition has been made to more advanced rail steel melting technologies.

It should be noted that one of the important events in the field of rail production is receipt of certificate for the production of 60E1 and 60E2 rail as per European standard by ARBZ LLP, which allowed expanding the geography of sales and entering the European market, as well as the Baltic countries and the Middle East.

The plant’s products have passed all types of tests and are fully comply with safety, quality, technical regulations and international standards.

In October of this year, the certification procedure for production of 60E1 railway rails EC-type was successfully completed, as a result of which the certificate was obtained according to standard EN 13674-1: 2017. This type of rail is used in the countries of the European Union, the Baltic countries, as well as in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa.

From the manufactured rail products P65, rail 60E1 has distinctive technical characteristics: rail height, web height and thickness, head width, foot flange height.

Due to the successful launch of new type of rail rolling, and production facilities, ARBZ is actively working on promotion of 60E1  rail in all directions relevant to this type of rail.

On October 23, 2019, in order to support young graduates, ARBZ LLP accepted 12 graduates of 2019 for a payable internship from Karaganda State Industrial University on technical specialties: “Materials Science and Technology of New Materials”, “Technology of Materials Processing by Pressure” and “Production Machines and Equipment”, as part of the charity project “Internship from Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC under the program “Education Support” from the Taiburyld Foundation.

The Taiburyl Foundation provides support to students, researchers, talented pupils in need of financial support, as well as the development of young graduates and students, providing them with the opportunity to gain their first labor skills through career guidance in the best manufacturing companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

ARBZ provide a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and adopt experience from specialists of the largest enterprise for production of high quality differentially heat-strengthened rails and medium sections in Kazakhstan, since qualified specialists from many regions of Kazakhstan, Russian and CIS countries are working in ARBZ LLP. Upon successful completion of the internship, young specialists will be employed at our Enterprise. It should be noted that young specialists came for an internship from different regions of Kazakhstan

The first Caspian Economic Forum was held on August 11-12, 2019 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, Turkmenistan, which is the new permanent platform for multilateral economic dialogue of the Caspian countries. Within the framework of this forum, the International Exhibition of Innovative Technologies of the Caspian littoral countries was held. 

ARBZ LLP was represented by its own stand at the site of national stand of Kazakhstan. The work on increase of awareness among visitors of activities of the enterprise and discussion of upcoming large projects in Turkmenistan was carried out.
